Job Purpose

Working closely with the Vertical Head and the Networks Development team, Lead - Network Development will be responsible to drive forward our Networks Development initiatives so that we are able to engage with our primary stakeholders proactively and consistently.

Sense India has a growing Advocacy and Network Development team. There is a broad scope to this post within Sense India. It is in line with the strategic plan and policy guidelines of the organisation. The key area will be to ensure growth of Networks through quality interventions based on effective implementation and monitoring. Position holder will be contributing for Networks Development as per Sense India strategy and operational plans, by effectively managing systems of Networks planning, development and management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare Network Development activities budget and operational plan for the financial year
• Coordinate national, regional and state network meetings, its documentation and follow ups

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Manager- Finance, the Officer-Accounts will be responsible for maintaining a robust accounting system as per Sense International India’s policies and procedures. The post holder will be an important member of the finance team and also work closely with other team members (and consultants) as required.

Key tasks

a. Accounting & Finance

• Prepare vouchers for all transactions undertaken by the organization and process cash as well as bank payments.
• To undertake all work related to the preparation of banking transactions such as preparation of cheques, filling in pay-in slips, online transactions, legal payments, etc.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Programme Development

• Support Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) based programme activities.
• Participate as needed on high-priority activities for SRHR program, including but not limited to data analysis and interpretation, health care worker training, program performance reviews, etc.
• Support in the capacity building needs assessment, planning, organising and facilitating training and workshops for partners
• Support in reporting and documentation of programme activities to various audiences including donors
• Support in logistic arrangement during training and workshops
• Work closely on project proposals to be submitted to donor agencies

Capacity Building of Partners

A. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

i) Working with Students with Deafblindness/Multiple Disabilities (Db/MD))

• Conducting assessments of children and adults with deafblindness / MD and developing or following a rehabilitation plan according to the respective children and adults with deafblindness / MD with sensory and physical disabilities

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Sr. Manager-Corporate Engagement and the Public Engagement (fundraising) team, the Asst. Working closely with the Manager – HR & Operations, the Officer - HR & Administration will be responsible for managing the human resource function and administration of Sense India offices at various locations.

1. Human Resource Function:

Purpose of the post

Working closely with the Assistant Manager – Individual Engagement, the Team Leader – Telecalling will play a key role in raising funds for Sense India by implementing effective donor acquisition and retention strategies. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve agreed-upon individual and team fundraising targets through effective telecalling and face-to-face donor meetings.
• Attend all appointments set by the telecalling team and ensure successful donor closures in the field.

There is a broad scope to this post within Sense International India (also known as Sense India). In line with strategic plans and policy guidelines of Sense India, the person will work under Centre Manager in the planning and implementation of agreed objectives/issues. Purpose of Post

This post provides front-line support to the advocacy work of Sense International India, under the guidance of the Senior Specialist -Network Communication & Support. The primary focus of the role is to support the planning, implementation and documentation of lobbying and advocacy activities aimed at greater awareness and recognition of the rights of deafblind people, with a lighter, supporting layer of coordination with network members where advocacy work intersects with the networks. The role is entry-to-early-career in nature and is designed to build the post-holder's skills in advocacy while offering exposure to networks management.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocacy Support (primary focus)
• Support the Senior Specialist in implementing the annual advocacy and lobbying activity plan, including basic tracking of progress against planned activities.

• Provide on-ground and logistical support at advocacy events, government/development platforms, and awareness campaigns, including basic documentation of proceedings.

1. Ensuring proper management and effective utilization of human resources and finances by the partner organisations
