Jeevan Jyoti School for the Blind (JJSB), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

This is a well-reputed school for the blind being run by the Christian mission. There are 128 students in the school and more than 75 children studying in normal schools under the integrated education scheme. Recently they have initiated a community based rehabilitation project for rural blind. Apart from these, the Trust is also involved in Eye care programmes in the whole district.

The Trust has also received an award from "NASEOH" (National Society for Equal Opportunities for the Handicapped) for outstanding contribution in the field of rehabilitation of visually impaired.

Sense International (India) has financially supported this organization for three years and the programme is now running from its own resources with technical support from Sense International (India).
