Association for the Welfare of Handicapped (AWH), Calicut, Kerala

The Association was founded in 1973 with the mission of "Facilitating rehabilitation of people with all kinds of disabilities and welfare of women in distress and children". The organisation is based in Calicut in Kerala state and has its activities spread in several districts of the state. It is involved in multifarious activities in areas of education, vocational training, integrated education, higher education and teacher training.

Sense International (India) is providing technical expertise by training and support to its staff to run a day care centre for deafblind children at Mankada in Mallapuram district of Kerala.

Sense International (India) has also sponsoring its staff for the deafblind teacher training course.
