Akanksha Lions School for the Mentally Handicapped, Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Lions Akanksha School is one of the leading institutions in Chattisgarh state to run comprehensive services for disabled children in the region. Their facilities include access to medical professionals in the state, early intervention programmes for young developmentally delayed children and educational programme for older mentally handicapped children. Currently they are providing home based services to 8 deafblind children in rural areas of the state.

Sense International (India) is providing technical and financial support to this organisation to provide home based services to deafblind children.
