Sense International (India) has two overall roles:
To identify and support partner organisations that want to develop services for deafblind people. The programmes for deafblind children and adults are implemented by partner organizations.
To offer a range of services and activities to address deafblindness
throughout India and to support the partner organisations. This includes
the circulation of information about deafblindness, the organisation of training activities, for professionals, deafblind people, their families and partners on management and fundraising, promotion of networking activities among teachers, families and deafblind people.
